Our firm has the privilege of being able to provide and conduct Live Auctions, Online Auctions, and/or Estate Sales which allows us to cater to our clients’ individual needs. Although we can provide multiple types of sales, we use our professional judgement to suggest which type of sale would be most beneficial to our clients.
A Live Auction is a sale to liquidate personal property that usually takes place in the client’s home, or in another venue if necessary, per individual circumstances. The house is set-up and staged in advance, and in most cases, the auction lasts for one day. There will typically be 4-6 employees working during the auction to ensure a successful sale. The first hour is the preview time when buyers can register to bid and walk through the property to inspect the items they would like to purchase. Once the auction starts, the Auctioneer moves item by item, room by room and sells each item to the highest bidder. The buyers follow the Auctioneer through the property until all assets are sold. Payments are collected, and buyers load up their items and remove them from the property the same day. Payment and sale results are provided to the client within 2-3 business days following the sale.
An Online Auction is a sale to liquidate unique, high-end, valuable items that warrant having a world-wide audience and bidding platform. These types of items may include but are not limited to fine jewelry, fine art, rare antiques, high-end sculptures, etc. Our firm uses our Online Auction Gallery to feature and sell assets such as gold, diamond, and gemstone jewelry, works of listed artists, Bacarrat, Lalique, Steuben, Faberge, Meissen, Royal Copenhagen, Sterling Silver, Georg Jensen, Herend, Weller, Newcomb College, Rookwood, Cartier, Tiffany, David Yurman, Van Cleef & Arpels, and more. These assets are professionally packed, removed from the client’s home, and brought to our facility. Then they are catalogued, professionally photographed, and stored until the auction concludes. Payments are collected and shipping is arranged with buyers. Payment and sale results are provided to the client within 30 days of the sale concluding.
An Estate Sale is a sale to liquidate personal property that takes place in the client’s home, and usually lasts for 1-3 days. All items are priced and tagged by Fidelity Estate Services, and the house is staged in advance for the sale. On the day(s) of the sale, 2-4 employees will be working to sell to buyers and make sure everything is running smoothly. Fidelity Estate Services controls and manages all pricing to ensure that the Estate is netting the most amount of money possible for the assets. All payments are collected, and buyers load up their items and remove them from the property the same day. Payment and sale results are provided to the client within 2-3 business days following the sale.
With any sale that we conduct, out best interest is always in netting the client the most money possible for their assets, treating their property with the utmost respect and care along the way, and providing a smooth and seamless liquidation process from start to finish.
